The Lawrence Housing Authority (LHA) has opened its waitlist for federally aided public housing for families.
Pre-applications for 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units are being accepted until further notice.

Legacy
The LHA was created as a result of the Housing Act of 1937 to provide decent, affordable housing to low- and moderate-income Lawrentians.

Our housing stock is composed of large family developments and elderly disabled high-rises, scattered throughout the city.

We partner with the Lawrence Police Department to provide responsive and pro-active policing throughout the LHA sites.
