The Finance Department of the Lawrence Housing Authority is responsible for ensuring the compliance of the overall Authority financial objectives and procedures by managing its finances, accounts, and budgets in conformance with the Department of Housing and Urban development (HUD)/Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). 

This department oversees the day-to-day operations, development of financial policies, improvement of efficiency and operations by providing analysis and discussion of the financial implications of policy formulation through financial controls to promote both prevention and detection.
