Reporting Fraud

The Lawrence Housing Authority is managed with the highest level of integrity. 

We are committed to ensure that the fundings received from HUD and EOHLC are spent in accordance with their requirements. 

HUD defines fraud as:

the intentional, false representation or concealment of a material fact for the purpose of inducing another to act on it to his or her injury.

The LHA remains vigilant about fraud and program abuse. Internal policies are in place to prevent, detect, investigate and resolve situations where fraud  and program abuse has taken place.
